To empower children at underserved schools in the area EmpowerLit - Literacy and Beyond is hosting a Battle of the Cakes.
Join in on the fun on Saturday September 27th from 12pm to 3pm at Valor Park in Market Common.
These will be no ordinary cakes either! Each baker competing for the title of Best Cake in Myrtle Beach must create their cake with care and real ingredients. No seed oils or artificial dyes are allowed.
Enter your own cake or come sample others!
Admission is free, and tickets are $2 per cake sample. Each sample is worth one ticket, and you can sample as many as you want. Just don't forget to cast your vote for People's Choice! There will be 20 local cake vendors competing.
EASY Radio's Glenn Dye will be on their panel of judges to determine the winner.
In addition to cake, enjoy live music and raffle prizes!
