The man with one of my all-time favorite voices is in North Myrtle Beach. Graham Nash, the two time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, and Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, with the high tenor and perfect pitch, is at The Carolina Opry this Friday evening, April 17.
Although I was really too young to understand the British Invasion at the time, I'm a fan of Graham, from his early days with the Hollies, to Crosby Stills and Nash, to his solo career. He'll perform all my favorite Hollies songs, like Look Through Any Window, Stop Stop Stop, On A Carousel, Bus Stop, Carrie Anne, and more.
And then there's his songs he wrote with Crosby Still and Nash, such as Marrakesh Express, Teach Your Children, Our House, Just A Song Before I Go, Wasted On The Way and others.
I've never seen Graham in concert before, although I've seen Neil Young a couple of times, but that's another story. I'm looking forward to Friday night at The Opry. Make sure you come back here for my review!
