In case you missed it...
- With hockey romance rising in popularity, I decided to pick up The Chase by Elle Kennedy. Her other series inspired the show Off Campus on Amazon. I'd give the book two and a half thumbs up. I wasn't crazy about the style of writing or the storyline, but I did enjoy the characters and their slow-burn romance.
- I added another flower to our garden. I just couldn't help myself once I saw this beautiful purple hydrangea at Lowe's. It's now in-between our loquat and nectarine tree, and I love it! Please share some tips with me on how to keep it that color, because I know they can change.
- Here I thought my cucumbers weren't going to make it this year. As it turns out, they're the best producing plant we grew! So, with all these cukes, I had to make pickles. Canning was a success, and I can't wait to give them a taste.
