Engage in Black culture, community and business year-round with Black Myrtle Beach!
Black Myrtle Beach (BMB) works to ensure every Person of Color feels welcome and connected to the area by promoting Black resources and events.
Their organization started as a social media group, a hub for personal and professional networking, but as membership grew their mission broadened to empowering new Black-owned businesses.
On Saturday, February 28th at the Robert H. Reed Recreation Center in Market Common, they'll host the 2026 Black Business Expo presented by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
This is an opportunity to participate in a day of socializing, building awareness and fostering economic growth for Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, creatives and community organizations. Reach out to BMB if you're interested in being a vendor or sponsor!
In addition to the Black Business Expo, BMB participates in:
- the MLK Day Parade
- the MLK Day of Service
- Melanin & Mimosa
- Juneteeth
- Kwanzaa
Find out more about these meet-ups on their website, and join their cause. It's easy, and there's numerous ways to get involved.
Their mission centers on the Black experience, but allies and community members of all backgrounds are welcome to contribute!
