Help Meals on Wheels of Horry & Geogetown County (MOW) prepare nutritious food for the elderly, terminally-ill and homebound by donating to our annual food drive.
The EASY Radio Stuck-In-A-Truck Food Drive is the day before Thanksgiving, on Wednesday, November 25th, at Kroger in Carolina Forest.
(Address: 3735 Renee Dr Myrtle Beach, SC 29579)
Starting at 6am, we'll be stuck in the TWO MEN & A TRUCK truck until it's FULL of donations for MOW. They work every day to prepare and deliver homecooked meals and fellowship to their clients, who they refer to as their grandparents, and this is such an important day for them.
It's become the largest food collection of the year for MOW! Please join us on Thanksgiving Eve, and donate:
- #10 cans of any vegetable
- #10 cans of any fruit
- Canned meats (tuna and chicken)
- Large boxes of instant potatoes
- Rice (any style)
- Pasta (penne, rotini, macaroni preferred)
- Pasta sauce
- Canned tomatoes
- Sugar free Jell-O
- Sugar free cake mixes
- Italian salad dressing
- Barbeque sauce
- Seasonings (no salt)
- Fresh produce
- Frozen meat (chicken, pork, beef)
We couldn't do this without you and Kroger, our mobile studio sponsor Dependable Service Plumbing & Air and Two Men & A Truck.
