Hefeweizen, meaning yeast wheat, is one of my favorite type of beers, and Olde Hickory Brewing's produced a winner.
A usual Hefeweizen is gold in color and cloudy in appearance. It flavor profile consists of banana and clove. While some breweries lean more banana-forward or more clove-forward, Olde Hickory Brewing has created, in my opinion, the perfect balance between the two.
Their beer is too easy to drink, and it's super refreshing!
Give it a taste, or, at the very least, sample another brand's hefeweizen beer, especially when you want a lighter beer, a different kind of tasting beer or a beer to simply cool you down.
